we're almost on our way! tickets are purchased! we'll be leaving Chicago on Friday Nov. 26 on TURKISH AIR - yes, you heard right. that was the only way we could get seats out of Kaz on Dec. 25th or 26th. so we'll be flying through Istanbul!
it's actually a very good route with shorter layovers than our last trip, and we'll be flying through Astana, K-stan, instead of Almaty, which we're kind of excited about. we've also learned that on the flight to Istanbul we'll have Internet capability. not that i really think we'd need it, but for those of us who don't have a blackberry or I-phone, it's kind of nice to know. :-)
