GOOD NEWS!
On Tuesday, after being at the Kazakhstan Embassy for eight weeks, our dossier was finally released. (Praise the Lord!) From there it will travel to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan, then to the Ministry of Education, and finally it will move on to the region from which we will adopt (our caseworker says probably between two-four months from now).
After it arrives in the region they will send us the official invitation to travel, and our agency will help us make the arrangements. While we're trying hard to live in the moment, I think we can say that that day can't come soon enough. :-)
Since some of you who read this won't know the whole adoption story, I'll try to recap that in another post soon.
